Organise a dedicated CEOS ARD workshop;inviting agencies and the private sector to continue engagement between EO data providers (public and commercial) and big data hosts/aggregators.
LSI-VC is considering an updated "Commercial (incl. New Space) Engagement Strategy". The possibility and form of a CEOS-Industry ARD Workshop will be considered as part of this effort. CEOS representatives are already engaging with industry via the annual ARD2x meetings, which have been co-hosted by USGS for the past few years.
Still awaiting an update of the CEOS-ARD Industry Engagement Strategy before progressing this workshop. Next steps for the Strategy update have been agreed at LSI-VC-14 and CEOS Agencies will be surveyed for their inputs before the end of the year.
LSI-VC and the CEOS-ARD Oversight Group are actively engaging with various external stakeholders, including industry, through the OGC ARD SWG and other activities (e.g., ARD23).
Propose updating to a Q4 2024 due date.
