The AFOLU roadmap is part of the broader convention engagement strategy;seeking for a more integrated;connected and end-to-end system for interaction between space data providers and policy users including the convention community in UNFCCC;IPCC etc;as well as national inventories people. The roadmap will be similar to that developed for GHG observations;with a view to integration of the two in the medium term. It will address agriculture;forestry and other land use (AFOLU) observations including CEOS interests in GFOI and GEOGLAM. New biomass capabilities will be included.
