- ESA proposed a repository on GitLab with GNU General Public open-source license.

- Sen2Cor will become open-source by Q1 2020.

- Sen2Like contract will be awarded by October 2019.

- ESA promoted VC-42 at the Planet ARD’19 workshop in August.

- Sen2like contract phase 1 completed with publication of Sen2Like software as open source and available at: https://github.com/senbox-org/sen2like

Ferran Gascon | 2021-09-10 17:20:25 UTC

- Sen2like phase 2 on-going targetting release of Sen2Like new version (including open-source atmospheric correction of both Landsat and S2 with Sen2Cor) by Q1 2022.

Ferran Gascon | 2022-11-22 07:04:49 UTC

- Sen2like version 3.0 delivered on GitHub [https://github.com/senbox-org/sen2like]. This version includes open-source atmospheric correction of both Landsat and S2 with Sen2Cor. Software freely availability to the community.

With the publication of Sen2Like version 3.0 on GitHub, the action is considered as closed. This open-source software/library enables the generation of CEOS-ARD surface reflectance products. Collaboration with NASA took place in terms of definition of the algorithms for Sen2Like, building on the experience from HLS (Harmonisaiton Landsat Sentinel-2) project.
