Review Process of the Memorandum of the International Forum on Satellite EO for Geohazards. Reviewing the EO requirements for geohazards and milestones achieved since 2012.
Update September 2019. The second GLab meeting was organized during the Living Planet Symposium in May (2019) in Milan. A survay focusing on EO products and formats is being prepared and will be circulated among geoscience centres within Q4 2019.
The Geohazards Lab has circulated to the WG DIsasters the Memorandum of the International Forum on Satellite EO for Geohazards and dedicated documents for each of the hazards covered (earthquakes, landslides, volcanoes and floods) describing the objectives of the EO community as well as the requirements in terms of data and services.
WG Disasters is expected to review the EO requirements and capture any major milestone achieved within the EO community since 2012. A summary of the review shall be circulated within 2021.
