Provide a MOOC (Massive Online Open Course) on Land Cover and Land Use Changes
December 2018: This MOOC has been delayed pending final approach and funding. August 2018: See CB-19 for new planned MOOCs for SDGs
Sept 2019 Update:
Funding has been procured, work will begin in Dec 2019 and the MOOC will happen in 2020.
Jan 2020 Update:
The project started in December 2019 and the content will be created in 2020, with a final publication goal of Q1 2021.
The concept is almost ready. One MOOC will be basics of remote sensing and then add-ons that present applications and use cases over the land surface. Users don’t have to take all courses; there are choices for the users.
