Engage with New Space and commercial sector in GHG product development and standards setting
1) Initial evaluation of NS GHG observations, based on CEOS meetings and joint EDAP ESA/NASA evaluation teams, raised concerns about the role of intellectual property on the traceability of reported measurements (finished).
2) Consider waiting until EDAP and other evaluation team efforts are concluded this year before making a formal recommendation.
An advanced draft of the best practise document was prepared in advance of and then shown at the SIT TW in Sydney, 17-19 Sep 2024. Adraft ready for community review is aimed for at IWGGMS in June 2025.
