Facilitate discovery and access for end users to data analytics and processing tools and services through the WGISS Connected Data Assets Infrastructure.
This is a continuous action in enlarging the discovery of data and tools by indexing metadata into data access catalogs. A detailed report related to both IDN/CWIC and Fedeo is expected to be given at the WGISS 54 meeting scheduled in Oc., 2022.
SLT is currently looking at some examples of tools and services for which an initial ingestion in the catalog is possible for validation of the associated metadata. There is also a possibility to have a webinar on the topic later on.
CEOS Catalog (IDN/CWIC and FEDEO) reports have been regularly provided at each WGISS to provide with the current inventory of collection ingested from the different institution. In addition IDN/CWIC is already supporting service discovery and FEDEO will do with the delivery expected in Q4 2023. At WGISS-56, a round table is planned to discuss the definition of metadata for Jupyter Notebook tool to make them discoverable through CEOS catalog. As a consequence, we would like to postpone deadline to Q1 2024
