ESA, as 2022-2023 CEOS SIT Chair, provided overall coordination for the 10 CEOS Global Stocktake (GST) deliverables worked on during ESA's term in office.  Having ESA take the lead on this provided useful oversight as CEOS Agencies looked to deliver on their committments for the first GST at COP-28 in 2023.

ESA also published a dedicated GST edition of the CEOS Earth Observation Handbook in time for COP-28 entitled "Space Data for the Global Stocktake".
