Single sign-on (SSO) allows user login with a single ID and password to gain access to connected (federated) systems. This capability is crucial for interoperability between different FDA platforms and systems. WGISS will develop a white paper on single-sign-on (SSO) authentication best practices to support machine- to-machine authentication for EO analysis services.
Responsibility of drafting the document with ESA. Table of Contents being defined.
The first version of the document has been delivered on the 30/05 and distributed to the community on the 30/06 for review and contributions (deadline fixed for the 12th of July).
Comments have been received (only) from DLR on the 20/07.
An update version of the document is under preparation with the contribution of DLR for incorporating their input.
The next delivery of the new version of the document to be distributed for additional review is expected within November 2019.
