A decision to close this action as complete, was made at WGCV-45 based on the update provided on  Phase 1 of the Surface Reflectance Validation initiative over the Australian continent. Surface Reflectance protocols developed as part of a project funded by Geoscience Australia, have been shared with the CEOS WGCV membership for review and feedback. Next steps are to adopt these protocols for global application as part of the new initiatives to be pursued within WGCV such as Fiducial Reference Measurement for Vegetation and Surface Reflectance, which are  being sponsored by the European Space Agency. An futue enhancements or additions to Surface Reflectance validation protocols will be progressed through the FRM work
