September 2018: LSI-VC decided to close CEOS Work Plan task VC-36 and create a new task on preparing a discussion paper on the definition of "interoperability". It was agreed that an action to formalise what we mean by "interoperable" is necessary before further work can be done on VC-36 (and VC-30).
VC-36 is now closed.
