August 2018: The Colombia IDEAM team has successfully implemented an "operational" data cube into their forest monitoring workflow and has generated forest / non-forest products. The SEO has continued to provide support to the team in order to "troubleshoot" issues with data cube ingestion and application algorithms. This interaction has been extremely valuable to the CEOS data cube initiative as it has provided user feedback for improved operations and impact.

September 2017: Continuing to work with the Colombia teams (IDEAM and Univ of Andes) to progress their Data Cubes and optimize applications. They are investigating the use of AWS cloud services, testing a random forest classifier, testing PyCCD change detection, working on cloud filtering, developing plans to ingest Sentinel-1 data, and developing median mosaics.

April 2017: The SEO has been supporting Colombia since early 2016. Since the end of 2016, the Colombia IDEAM team has a fully functional full-country data cube. As of April 2017, they are still using traditional scene-based methods for UN reporting. The SEO and team is working with Colombia to resolve technical issues that would allow them to use the data cube for future reporting and data analysis. This will continue throughout 2017.
