Analyze the output of the WGClimate ECV Gap Analysis for those variables where there is overlap with those identified is the CEOS Carbon Strategy, i.e. a meta gap analysis for carbon relevant ECVs
Work on this action has been performed by assessing how many relevant data sets for ECV products representing the carbon cycle. The result was used in the further palnning of CEOS CO2 activities. More systematically, for the updated design of gap anaylsis in spring 2018 specific ECVs have been selected for gap analysis. Among those are CO2, CH4, land surface temperature, leaf area index which are all connected to carbon cycle. This means that parts of this action are contained in the gap anaylsis CMRS-15.
