Agreed with stakeholders that document scope will include CO2 and CH4, as now reflected in 2017-2019 CEOS work plan. Document preparation is beginning in coordination with CEOS Chair and CGMS. Planning discussion during SIT-32.
10/2017 Update: Discussion was held during SIT-32, AC-VC-13, and SIT-TW. On schedule for complete draft by end of CY2017.
6/2018 Update: White paper status and scope reported at SIT-33, the AC-VC Annual Meeting, and the CEOS Chair Priority Workshop. At this time, the bulk of the paper was complete, with the exception of the Executive Summary and Conclusions, but substantial inputs on structure and organization from these meetings had to be integrated.
8/2018 Update: The white paper is in final editing process, with expectation that it will be complete before the SIT Technical Workshop.
