Significant progress has already been made to improve the visibility of CEOS Agency data through existing tools such as The CEOS-WGISS Integrated Catalog (CWIC) and the Federated Earth Observation Missions Pilot (FedEO).
The LSI-VC will work with WGISS to list relevant datasets to ensure visibility through CWIC etc.
Note: Although aligned to VC-1, this activity will involve a specific additional effort over a defined period so is included as a separate objective/deliverable.
WGISS has made considerable progress adding new datasets to the CEOS-WGISS Integrated Catalog (CWIC) and the Federated Earth Observation Missions Pilot (FedEO). This action will be closed, as the "visibility of land surface imaging data holdings" has increased. WGISS will continue to pursue this effort in the future.
