The WGCapD will work closely with the CEOS SDG Ad Hoc Team (who supports GEO in promoting the use of EO to track progress towards and achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals), to identify, plan, and ultimately implement SDG-related training and capacity building activities.
August 2018: Working to get reengagement with SDG Ad Hoc Team following retirement of WGCapD member on SDG Ad Hoc Team.
August 2018: Within the EC-funded Framework Partnership agreement which is coordinatted by the DLR Space Administration, DLR, supported by FSU Jena handed in a Proposal to the EC for 2 MOOCs targeting SDGs: one for SDG 2: Zero Hunger, the second for SDG 13: Climate Actions.
