Each VC will provide WGISS with a list of relevant datasets that its respective constellation members desire to access. WGISS will work with CEOS data providers to ensure search and accessibility (when possible) of these datasets are available so as to ensure coverage of all datasets required by VCs.

(Update from June 2015 SIT Chair TagUp) Pending, waiting request from VCs.

WGISS has formed an Interoperability Interest Group to actively engage with CEOS Virtual Constellations, Working Groups and other groups that benefit from the WGISS projects (i.e. GEOSS). An opportunity is given to these groups to participate during WGISS meetings.

Progress on SST-VC List of Relevant Datasets

  • 81 Group for High Resolution SST (GHRSST) products now in GHRSST Long Term Stewardship and Reanalysis Facility (LTSRF) archive at NOAA/National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI)
  • Collection-level and granule-level discovery and access fully web-service?enabled (CSW, OpenSearch, OAI-PMH plus DAP, WMS, WCS)
  • You may?Search the GHRSST collections or browse the full product table, both ?dynamically and automatically updated
  • Data set updates to CWIC are fully operational and automated
  • GHRSST Data Specification (GDS) Version 2 fully operational?
  • Available SST Products span September 1981 ? September 2015
  • Over 5.0 million netCDF data files, 94 Terabytes in collection and growing
  • Served over 200,000,000 files, amounting to over 800 TB of information,?to over 130,000 users (Statistics through January 2015 for LTSRF and May 2014 for Globlal Data Assembly Center)
  • GHRSST Regional/Global task sharing framework looking toward future and considering new, federated approaches to virtually aggregating GHRSST data collections into a single, searchable set
