Development work on the Recovery Observatory will be progressed to the point where the IT system, processes and procedures are in 'cold storage' ready for activation at the appropriate time.

RO Infrastructure:
The RO has been ready for triggering since 1 January. Parallel development of the IT infrastructure v2 continues.

RO Oversight Team:
?Regarding the involvement stakeholders in the Oversight Team (in charge of recommending the RO triggering and overseeing the implementation, several successful meetings have been held with UNDP and World Bank, and UNOSAT. UNDP and GFDRR have joined the Oversight Team. There are still discussions on-going with IFRC (Red Cross) and we hope to engage UNEP in 2015.

RO Testing:
A test of the whole process to trigger the RO has been initiated at the occasion of the hurricane above Vanuatu but it failed: a report of lessons learned and recommendations is being finalized (will be discussed by the group on 24 June); it will be used to improve the whole process.
