(Update for April SIT-33)The NASA PPS began reprocessing of TRMM (PR, TMI, and VIRS) and TRMM-era AMSR-E, AMSU-B and SSMI L2/L3 data products to the GPM standard (Version 8).(Update for July SIT Chair Telecon)The NASA PPS has completed reprocessing of all TRMM PR and TMI, as well asTRMM-era AMSR-E, AMSU-B and SSMI L2/L3 data products to the GPM standard (Version 8). The combined TRMM products are currently in test and reprocessing of those will begin in mid-September. The completion of the reprocessing of these combined standard products is the final step in the activity.
(September 2019): The TRMM reprocessing is complete and has been released on the GPM data processing server for public use.
(September 2019): The TRMM reprocessing using GPM as a calibration has been completed. IMERG now has data from 2000-present. The data was released to the public summer 2019.
