The 11th meeting of the Joint Working Group reviewed the progress of the dedicated task team presented by its leader Mark Dowell (European Commission) that facilitates the coordination of the deployment of a constellation for greenhouse gas monitoring from space, as part of the operational system for monitoring atmospheric concentrations and emissions of CO2 and CH4. The task team has identified the major elements of a roadmap and the distribution of work among CEOS and CGMS entities. This also includes a description of needed resources for the task team. The roadmap was presented to the CEOS Technical Workshop in Fairbanks, Alaska, 11&12 September 2019 and will be presented for endorsement at CEOS Plenary in Hanoi, Vietnam, 15&16 October.

Action should be closed after the CEOS Plenary in Hanoi.
